Your key never leaves your machine except to go to Google. It is stored in this browser's localStorage only and sent exclusively to generativelanguage.googleapis.com - never to nerdymark.com. Don't take my word for it: the assistant is ~250 lines of readable JavaScript, and this page's security policy (DevTools → Network) physically blocks connections to anywhere else. "Forget key" wipes it. Google's free tier covers casual use. Measured July 2026: a typical ask costs ~0.9¢ on the default model, ~4¢ on pro (our benchmark data - estimates, Google's bill is authoritative).
