What an attacker could do
An open Ollama chat endpoint allows unauthenticated conversational use of hosted models, leaking model identity and enabling resource exhaustion and jailbreak/prompt-injection testing against your infrastructure.
How to defend it
Restrict the Ollama listener to loopback or an internal network and require authentication via a proxy; enforce rate limits and per-client quotas.
