Poople Solver

Poople is a daily word-ladder game: starting from a word chosen each day, get to POOP in as few steps as possible, changing exactly one letter at a time (every step must be a real 4-letter word). Enter today's start word and this solver finds the shortest path. The brown letter marks the one that changed from the line above.

Dictionary note: this solver uses the public-domain ENABLE word list (3903 four-letter words), the standard lexicon for word games. Poople's own accepted words may differ slightly, so once in a while a suggested path can use a word Poople rejects (like PIMA) or allow a shorter one through a word ENABLE lacks. When a word isn't accepted, click the × next to it and the solver reroutes around it. Rejected words are remembered on this device, so you only have to flag each one once.
