Unauthenticated access to Ollama embeddings lets attackers consume GPU/CPU compute for free and probe model behavior, while large batch requests can be used for denial of service.
How to defend it
Require authentication and rate limiting in front of the embeddings endpoint and ensure the Ollama port is not reachable from the public internet.
