What an attacker could do
An open Ollama pull endpoint lets attackers force the server to download arbitrary large models, filling disk and consuming bandwidth, or stage malicious model files for later use.
How to defend it
Disable or authenticate the pull endpoint, restrict outbound model registry access, and keep the Ollama API bound to localhost or an internal network.
