What an attacker could do
This Spring Boot endpoint dumps environment properties and configuration, frequently leaking database passwords, API keys, cloud credentials, and internal hostnames that enable lateral movement and account takeover.
How to defend it
Disable or restrict Actuator with management.endpoints.web.exposure.exclude, require authentication via Spring Security on the management context, bind it to a separate internal port, and mask sensitive keys with management.endpoint.env.show-values=never.
