What an attacker could do
Reaching the Directus users collection can expose account records and, with a valid token, permits enumerating or modifying users and escalating to admin if role permissions are misconfigured.
How to defend it
Enforce role-based permissions and field-level access control on the directus_users collection, require authentication on all item endpoints, and disable public read access in the data model settings.
