What an attacker could do
The Flink dashboard allows uploading and running arbitrary JAR files, so unauthenticated access gives an attacker direct remote code execution on the JobManager and TaskManagers, commonly abused for cryptominers.
How to defend it
Place the Flink web UI behind an authenticating reverse proxy, disable jar upload (web.submit.enable: false) in production, and bind the dashboard to localhost or an internal network only.
